UC Emerging Leader College Scholarships Minority "recognizes not only academic achievement, but the potential leadership and sporting / cultural involvement among their best students to attend the University of Canterbury.

Eligibility Details:

College Scholarships Minority Applicants may be considered by more than one category, but will not be eligible to hold more than one UC Emerging Leaders Scholarships'.
Category A: All-Round Excellence Awards - 14 scholarships
Category B: All-Round Excellence Awards - School Determined - 7 scholarships
Category C: Maori and Pasifika Awards - 2 scholarships
Category D: Awards for Specific Program - Up to 12 scholarships
Category E: Sports Awards - 6 scholarships
Category H: Head Boy or Head Girl Awards - Up to 30 scholarships

International Fellowships College Scholarships Minority to Integrative Biology Postdoctorals

The College Scholarships Minority program is financed by the European Commission FP7 Marie Curie People Cofund.

Eligibility Details:

Nationality VIB International Postdoc program "OMICS @ VIB" open to applicants of all nationalities. College Scholarships Minority Applicants should not do research in Belgium for more than 12 months during the last 3 years prior to the deadline for the program on 31/08/2011. Postdocs selected for this program must be able to start their Postdoc project before 1.6.2012. Applicants must hold a university degree before embarking on a PhD fellowship, but not necessarily when applying. Age upper age limit for eligibility is 32 years with the exception for researchers demonstrate a career break. The age limit of 32 is based on a career plan that is currently implemented in the VIB. English is used in all laboratories VIB for spoken and written scientific communication.College Scholarships Minority Candidates must submit proof of a solid knowledge of English.
